About
Us... OUR COMPANY: We, at Dirks Heating &
Cooling opened our doors on October 1, 1997. Erv and
Dennis started the business working from Dennis’ garage. Erv had
been working in the heating and cooling industry for several
years and Dennis had owned and operated a trucking business.
“Emil, The Tin Bender” is an invaluable asset to the company as
he has a lifetime of experience at bending tin into all kinds of
useful shapes.
In April 1999, Dirks moved to a building in downtown Barron
and have since moved to the present location on Hwy. 8 in
Barron. In 2000, Dirks Heating & Cooling was awarded “Dealer of
the Year” award by W.A. Roosevelt Co., for impressive success as
an Amana Dealer.
April of 2000 saw the opening of the Cumberland, WI, store
and the Chetek, WI, location opened in spring of 2005. |

About us ... We Care About Quality Air

According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency(EPA),
concentration of many VOCs are up to ten times higher indoors that
outdoors — regardless of whether the home is located in rural or highly
industrialized area.
